Tactic and sister company Plasma are movin' out and movin' up. We've found a gorgeous new home a few blocks from our current locale in Glebe. Come visit us at 9 Glebe Street, Glebe.

We spend our days making other people look great so with our move into spanky new premises, we thought it was time to make ourselves look a bit spiffier too. Our new buff and polish will filter through to an updated website very soon.

So we get a call from multi-national mega-agency IMG to see if we'd be interested in doing a project that would potentially be seen by BILLIONS of people.
To which we replied, "Is the Pope Catholic?".
To which they replied, "funny you should mention him".
Yes that's right TACTIC created all the on-air packaging for the mega massive global event that was World Youth Day. Talk about brownie points!

TACTIC recently won a pitch to brand a soon to be launched general entertainment channel in India. We were invited to compete against two companies from the UK and one from US and went on to a win the business. We're delighted to be working with Turner International and the Alva Brothers, promoters of one of India’s leading production houses – Miditech Pvt. Limited. The predominantly Hindi speaking channel will be targeted at an urban Indian audience and will see us spending plenty of time in fascinating India!

And speaking of winning, TACTIC picked up a tidy stash of awards at the recent Promax/BDA Awards in New York. We won 2 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze awards for our work with the Movie Network Channels, National Geographic Channel, The LifeStyle Channel and W. Channel. Check out some of the award winning spots for Movie Network Channels.

We love sprucing up spots and we've been busy wee beavers this month. First up is a spot we wrote, produced and designed to attract bloggers to hit Nat Geo Adventure asking that they upload their travel blogs. That's followed by another spot we wrote, produced and designed for Movie EXTRA's Sunday Night Drama Spotlight strand. Arena asked us to cook up a storm with their launch spots for Top Chef plus some frames we designed for Bondi Rescue on Nat Geo Adventure and a fiercely moving Hitler spot for Nat Geo. But the winners for happiest client and BEST FEEDBACK OF THE YEAR came from our mates at World Movies Channel. Reading between the lines (!), they were fairly impressed with the design work we did recently on their movie spots.

We f*%$ing love it! This WIP is replacing porn for all us here at World Movies.
Overall its fantastic. I could really only be happier if you also managed to sneak in a Monkey and a Midget (my two favourite things). Well done!

We recently completed a television commercial for Arterial Marketing. They came to us to produce a TVC for a product called Ferrograd C produced by Abbott. We had a stack of fun throwing concepts together to sell this supplement which is aimed at a female market. It's on-air now and soon to be airing in New Zealand too. We love a happy customer and here's what Arterial had to say...

"The TVC is awesome! Just got a text from our client and she loves it!
Arterial Marketing and their client, Abbot are very happy with the outcome so just wanted to pass on a big fat thank you!"

Account Manager, Arterial Marketing

Working with the team at National Breast Cancer Foundation and Foxtel's W. Channel, we've just created a spot which will air on Foxtel channels throughout Sept. The ad promotes the pink ribbon breakfast initiative which raises funds for Breast Cancer research. A group of Foxtel personalities kindly donated their time to support us in making this ad. It's a beautiful, fun spot and we were chuffed by the great feedback from our clients..

"Everything looks fabulous! Just shows how wonderful and creative you are all over there at Tactic!"
Emma Tinkler, National Breast Cancer Foundation.

If you've been lucky enough to hit the slopes this winter, you've probably seen some of our signage for Nat Geo Adventure.

He is the only person ever to capture all 23 species of crocodilians in the wild. With those impressive credentials we were pretty pumped about a shoot with NGC’s resident herpetologist, Dr Brady Barr. TACTIC wrote, produced and directed hostings and promos for his brand new series – but no cushy studio shoot for us, hell no! Instead we headed INSIDE an enclosure with over 40 alligators! Throw a 4 metre python, a goanna and a baby croc in to the mix - just to spice things up a tad.

Celebrating their top 30 programmes, Nat Geo in Asia asked us to work with them in creating the on-air packaging. We worked with the super lovely promo team in Hong Kong who shot with their on-air personalities. We provided the graphic backgrounds and packaging elements. This exciting programming initiative rated very well for the channel. Sweet as!

And still in HK, we worked on an animated illustrated TVC for Nat Geo Asia who were creating a spot for their client, Transition Lenses. The sun is a scorcher and so too was this spot! sssss.

We kick off this show & tell with an ad designed & produced last year for Foxtel's W. Channel. W's "we support" picked up a bronze award at Promax/BDA in the USA this year and we've recently updated the ad to run again this year when Breast Cancer Awareness month kicks off in October.

Plus a few more ads for National Geographic Channel and Movie Network Channels.
